United Healthcare has scheduled maintenance planned for Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 9:00 PM MDT to Sunday, April 30, 2017, at 5:00 AM MDT. The maintenance affects batch and real-time Eligibility 270 transactions. UHIN received the following notice for United Healthcare:

“Attention all Trading Partners and Clients:

“United Healthcare has notified us of scheduled system maintenance occurring for the following times:

• Saturday, April 29th 2017 from 11:00 PM [9:00 PM MDT] to Sunday, April 30th 7:00 AM Eastern Standard Time [5:00 AM MDT]

“During the specified maintenance window, 27X transactions will be unavailable for processing. Attempts to submit transactions for this payer will result in AAA*42 errors.

“All transactions will resume once this maintenance has been completed.”

During the scheduled maintenance for United Healthcare don’t send Eligibility 270 files to them. If sent and an error is received resend the transaction after the maintenance.
