Humana has a new payer claim rejection message:
The ICD-10-CM (code will be inserted here) may only be used as first-listed or primary diagnosis position.

Action Required by You:
If the provider receives this payer claim rejection, please correct the claim as follows and resubmit:

The rejection is informing the provider that the diagnosis code shown in the rejection message should be the first code listed in the HI segment on the claim and should be the first code pointed to when it is being pointed to in the service line.
